Watching movie = duu nǎng (ดูหนัง)
Listening to musics = fang phleeng (ฟังเพลง)
Reading = àan nǎng (อ่านหนังสือ)
Writing blog = khian blog (เขียนบล็อก)
Cooking = tham aahǎan (ทำอาหาร)
Shopping = pai súu khǒong (ไปซื้อของ)
Hanging out = òok paijee phûan (ออกไปเจอเพื่อน)
Taking a photos = thàay rûup (ถ่ายรูป)
Surfing the internet = lêninternet (เล่นอินเตอร์เนต)
Swimming= wâay nám (ว่ายน้ำ)
Boxing = chók muay / tòoy muay(ชกมวย/ต่อยมวย)
Doing yoga = lên yo-khá (เล่นโยคะ)
Working out = òok-kam-lang-kaay( ออกกำลังกาย)
Hiking = piin khǎo (ปีนเขา)
Trekking = deen pàa (เดินป่า)Cycling = pàn-jàk-kà-yaan (ปั่นจักรยาน)
Part 2: What do you like doing?
To say you like to do something in your free time in Thai is very simple. You can say:
Question 1: Weelaa wâang,khun chôoptham arai? (เวลาว่างคุณชอบทำอะไร)What do you like to do in your free time?
Answer: Weelaa wâang,phǒm/chǎn chôop ……….. (เวลาว่างผม/ฉันชอบทำ………) In my free time, Ilike to…………….
Question 2: Ngaan adirek khǒongkhun khuu arai? (งานอดิเรกของคุณคืออะไร) What is your hobby?
Answer: Ngaan adirek khǒong phǒm/chǎnkhuu……………. (งานอดิเรกของคุณคือ……….) My hobby is……….

rêem (เริ่ม) = to start
Phom rêem lên football toon aayu 8 pii.
ผมเริ่มเล่นฟุตบอลตอนอายุ 8 ปี
I started playing football when I was 8 years old.
tàtsinjai (ตัดสินใจ)= to decide
Chǎntàtsinjai ook-kam-lang-kaay phró wâa yàakmii su-kha-phâap-dii.
ฉันตัดสินใจออกกำลังกายเพราะว่าอยากมีสุขภาพดี
I decided to exercise because I want to be healthy.
Bòoy (bòoy) (บ่อยๆ) = often
Chǎn pai duu nǎng kàp phuan bòoy bòoy.
ฉันไปดูหนังกับเพื่อนบ่อยๆ
I go to watch movie with friends often.
kheey (เคย) = use to do something/ have done something
Phǒmkheey rian tàttòo video tàa rúusùk wâa yâakmâak.
ผมเคยเรียนตัดต่อวิดีโอแต่รู้สึกว่ายากมาก
I used to learn how to edit video but I found it very difficult.
maa……(time)….. láaw ( มา……แล้ว ) = have done somethingfor……(time)……
Chǎn lên yokhá maa 2 pii láaw.
ฉันเล่นโยคะมา 2 ปีแล้ว
I’ve been doing yoga for 2 years.
Mâi…………leey (ไม่…….เลย) =not at all
When you want to tell someone that you to dislike something, you can say
“mâi chôop……… leey”
Phǒm mâi chôop pai suu khǒongleey.
ผมไม่ชอบไปซื้อของเลย
I dislike going shopping.
