Firstly, Central Thai food
The food that most foreigners know and eat is the central region. Therefore, making this region’s food more distinctive than other regions. What are the menus that are popular? I’m pretty sure everyone knows Tom yum kung, Pad Thai, green curry and chicken fried rice, etc.

In addition, northern people also have a Khantoke food culture which is an important identity of them.

Isan food is considered to be a very popular food among Thai people because of its delicious taste and easy to eat. You can eat it everywhere. The most popular menus are sticky rice, papaya salad, and grilled chicken. There is also Larb moo (minced pork salad) and roasted pork neck.
